Portia Mushambi (pen name SP K-Mushambi) is the author of the Naniso & Shinga book series and Tarirai & the Safari Five picture books. Portia’s author visits are designed to be interactive and engaging centred on storytelling, creativity and cultural exploration . She believes that literature reflecting our stories, experiences, and images is essential in inspiring self-esteem and a sense of belonging.
Portia was Author in Resident at KidZania London for three years and has conducted visits in schools and libraries. Her work has been recognised for various awards and has been brought to life through her Tirivhu toy collection and music collaborations.
