FLIP INTO WONDER with us on Friday 2nd October, from 5.15pm. A free family program. Donations welcome!
Hear 13 fascinating sessions with authors | artists | storytellers! Meet Children’s authors with stories that inspire curiosity, imagination and connection.
Celebrate newly elected RSL Fellow – Ms Lola Shoneyin, meet festival organisers from other lands, and authors (and creatives) across the UK, all telling narratives of wonder and awe. Come ready to Listen, Sing, Cook, Draw, and Dance at #FlipIntoWonder 2026.
WHY? Because every page is an invitation to new doors, new cultures, new understandings of our world and our people, with every child powered by their imagination, inspired by their curiousity: to become who they dream of being.
CALFE 2026… HERE WE COME! Flip the page. Find a place. Discover a story. Wonder what’s next.
Our CALFE 2026 visual identity has been created by artist @tolushofule, bringing the spirit of Flip Into Wonder to life.
